To mark Bottega Veneta’s newly expanded flagship at ION Orchard, Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore hosted guests to a Saturday afternoon filled with cocktails and camaraderie. Associate Fashion News Editor Gerald Tan took guests on a tour of the refurbished space and the fall/winter 2016 pieces within, before they witnessed the iconic Intrecciato technique first-hand, demonstrated by an artisan from the brand’s Montebello Vicentino atelier. “I love how her manicure matches the pastel purple of the leather—it really is all in the details, no?” commented one of the ladies, who then went on to try on the plushest cashmere coat. The array of colourful knot clutches, naturally, were the most popular, while a handful of guests were seen strutting out of the boutique in fresh new shoes—brogues and loafers included.
