HOROSCOPE

Fears about a family or financial arrangement may not be entirely unfounded, but they can be more easily managed than you first imagined.

LIBRA

24 SEPTEMBER – 23 OCTOBER

Fears about a family or financial arrangement may not be entirely unfounded, but they can be more easily managed than you first imagined. Heed the advice of peers suggesting inventive means of keeping any risk or disruption to a minimum. And ask yourself if a pleasant distraction will help you see things in perspective.

SCORPIO

24 OCTOBER – 22 NOVEMBER

Having made a firm resolve not to try fixing a loved one’s problems, you’re likely to get drawn into a dramatic set-up without even realising it’s happening. A Jupiter-Neptune alliance might tempt you into making a promise to provide a perfect solution. However, you must resist; it could lead to disappointment and red faces all around.

SAGITTARIUS

23 NOVEMBER – 21 DECEMBER

Don’t underestimate the potential of opportunities on the horizon and don’t assume that everything you want from it is yours for the asking. Go-getting individuals will expect you to prove that you’re someone who is proactive and ready for action.

CAPRICORN

22 DECEMBER – 20 JANUARY

No one can guarantee that ructions within the family can be brought to a permanent close. However, there should be far fewer power struggles as Pluto resumes its forward direction. That doesn’t mean, though, that you can let a certain person assume more control than is helpful or appropriate. Never take your eye off the ball.

AQUARIUS

21 JANUARY – 19 FEBRUARY

Those helping you mitigate risks involved in a journey or venture are well informed. So don’t ignore them and go your own way, especially at the point where you need to know what you’re doing. You may think they’re playing too safe a game, but they’re not. Trust them and see how well this tale ends.

PISCES

20 FEBRUARY – 20 MARCH

Pay attention to practical matters to achieve a great deal. But don’t come across as though you’re gloating over individuals who aren’t doing as well as you. You don’t realise how much they’d appreciate the guidance you can give on a particular topic.

ARIES

21 MARCH – 20 APRIL

Business- or money-related discussions can become complex, especially with Mercury retrograde for three weeks from mid-October. Try not to see every comment made by a partner or colleague as judgemental. You’re not the only one trying to decide what best to do.

TAURUS

21 APRIL – 21 MAY

Information you’ve found difficult to access could suddenly be at your disposal. Use it well, but don’t be tempted to flaunt it in the face of someone with a jealous streak. You don’t always realise how much this person envies you and you don’t want one or two perfectly innocent remarks to spark off a row.

GEMINI

22 MAY – 21 JUNE

It would be a pity if you and a workmate or loved one were to argue over something that’s meant to be enjoyed by all. You’re likely to have different views on how much time, effort and money should be spent. Pick your battles carefully and give way on petty irritations that really don’t matter one jot.

CANCER

22 JUNE – 23 JULY

Major changes on the domestic scene are best made as soon as possible. Out of the blue, friends or family members are likely to dig in their heels over issues that they’ve previously had little or no interest in. You’ll want to keep them onside for a surprise announcement that’s likely to cause a stir.

LEO

24 JULY – 23 AUGUST

By reminding others of the value of what you share between you, you should be able to lift their spirits. They won’t want to hear pointless platitudes, but they’ve perhaps been overlooking the fact that there’s far more to celebrate than regret or resent. And perhaps the same could be said for you?

VIRGO

24 AUGUST – 23 SEPTEMBER

Artistic, cultural or romantic ventures will appeal. But listen to that quiet voice whispering that you mustn’t overindulge. The Sun challenging Saturn means if you misjudge one particular set-up and throw caution to the wind, you’ll lose face in front of those whose opinions matter a great deal.
