The biggest horology event to ever hit our shores, Patek Philippe will be throwing the doors wide open to its Watch Art Grand Exhibition this September for an unforgettable horology experience.
The 16-day exhibition will see a stellar array of over 400 timepieces, from across a time span of three-and-a-half centuries, being flown into Singapore for the momentous occasion. Even more impressive is the fact that the fifth edition of this pivotal showcase is the Swiss watchmaker’s largest installation yet: Spread across 1,800sqm, the exhibition comes complete with 10 themed rooms that each spotlight a particular facet of the Patek Philippe universe and the history of watchmaking.

From the historical brand footage that will be shown in the Theatre Room, to the Watchmakers Room that will feature master watchmakers beavering away on highly intricate mechanical watches to the Rare Handcrafts Room with skilled artisans working on horology decoration, there will be much for visitors to see. Also included in the lineup is the Singapore 200th Anniversary Room. Inside, selected timepieces and events from Patek Philippe’s history are displayed alongside Singapore’s, commemorating this nation’s bicentennial celebrations.
Although fans and horologists will take great delight in the Patek timepieces and movements found in the Grand Complications Room and Movements Room respectively, the exhibition will also be fascinating for those who love history and craftsmanship—thanks to the ability to see the art of fine watchmaking come alive right in front of their eyes. And that’s all happening right here on our sunny shores.
