When I think about how I would say “I do”, I don’t picture cavernous ballroom halls filled with far-too- distant relatives. Millennial brides of today want to celebrate love in a more personal setting. Picture the white sand beaches of Mui Ne, distant relatives. Millennial brides of today want to celebrate love in a more personal setting. Picture the white sand beaches of Mui Ne, Vietnam, tinted pink by the sunset sky...
Just me and my partner in crime, like a modernday Bonnie and Clyde. Think: A sheer, almost risqué dress, sprinkled lightly with sequins like this look from Valentino spring/summer 2018. Another partner in crime, like a modern- spring/summer 2018. Another perfect off-kilter wedding gown would come in floaty coral pink (3) draped over nude lace and satin-trimmed lingerie (11), topped with a chic netted beret (2) to match the black accents on my wedding boots (9).
All this finished with flushed creamy cheeks and blushing lips paired with a silky pastel eye, plus lot of lashes, as we run off into the fading sunset, pale pink hydrangea bunches in hand to our honeymoon resort. This blissful memory will be scented with the aroma of white flowers and bubbling aldehydes as we say “Yes, I do” (7). How wonderfully reckless.
