Gwyneth Paltrow has coined the term “clean sleeping” and wants everyone to try it. In her book Clean Beauty, she dishes out sleeping tips, which range from the sensible (“no bedtime snacks”) to the bizarre (“investing in a copper pillow” – say what?). There's also “nine hours is the magic number”, which might be unrealistic, given that a study in 2014 by Jawbone showed that Singaporeans generally get only six-and-a-half hours of sleep a night. So maybe before we get all fancy with our sleep, we just try and get some more first?
