Cosmoprof Asia 2016
November 15–18
The Asia-Pacific’s most influential beauty event, Cosmoprof Asia 2016 was for the first time held in two venues in Hong Kong over four days, welcoming record numbers of visitors and exhibitors from across the globe. From November 15 to 17, an exhibition showcasing packaging, ingredients and processing equipment took place at the AsiaWorld-Expo; while the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre played host to international cosmetics companies between November 16 and 18. In total, 2,698 exhibitors and 76,818 trade visitors took part in the event.
In addition to an education programme series, 24 national and group pavilions and the Extraordinary Gallery, where the spotlight was on unconventional multicultural brands, this year’s show debuted the first edition of the Innovation Circle Awards, which recognised innovative packaging, design and formula.www.cosmoprof-asia.com.

Spa and wellness delegates once again gathered at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre for the ninth annual Spa Conference on November 17. This year, the conference invited 13 top industry leaders to speak about their experience and vision on topics such as trends to watch out for in 2017, integrating wellness into spa and daily hotel operations. Spameeting Conferences & Business Meetings
November 27–29
The 15th edition of Spameeting was held on November 27–29 at The St. Regis Dubai. More than 10 partners, 54 suppliers and 73 buyers attended to explore business opportunities and forge new partnerships through formal sessions as well as networking in a more relaxed setting. This year’s Spameeting also included a Spameeting Global Conference on November 27, where more than 80 industry players and prospective spa professionals participated in discussions on issues like social media, equipment in spas and salons and leadership in the 21st century. www.spameeting.com.
