The system can generate more than 20 different skincare solutions using five Custom-Blended Essences and Type III Collagen MAX. How It Works It may seem complicated at first glance, but the idea is to create a personalised blend by mixing the Type III Collagen MAX with the essence that targets your skin concerns. Type III Collagen works to promote cell regeneration and accelerate the growth of fibroblast, which produces collagen.
Using lyophilisation technology to synthesise hydrolysed collagen and hyaluronic acid, the new MAX version has up to three times the concentration of collagen, and claims to be 10 times more effective than regular collagen. Depending on your skincare needs, you can blend the collagen with one of the five essences. Brightening Ume is an extract from Japanese plum for more translucent skin, thanks to its ability to dissolve and dissipate AGEs (Advanced Glycation End-products).
Rejuvenating Konbu stimulates skin cells regeneration and metabolism with Hidaka Konbu extract, which is known to replenish essential minerals in the skin and combat premature ageing. Moisturising Ceramide, as its name suggests, rehydrates dry skin, restoring plumpness and preventing the appearance of fine lines. Those with inflamed, sensitive skin will benefit from Soothing Jabara, an extract from Jabara peel that works against free radicals and the deposition of melanin; while Regenerating Delamyth is great for those with problems such as pigmentation, looseness and wrinkles.
Step by Step
1. Pour one bottle of Custom-Blended Essence into one bottle of Type III Collagen MAX. Shake gently until contents are completely blended.
2. Apply around the eyes, face and neck twice daily after your cleansing routines. Massage until the essence is fully absorbed.
3. Apply other products, such as a moisturiser, to complete the routine. MTM has a range of Custom-Blended Fundamentals and Specialty Care products for enhanced results.
Pro Tip
When applying your personalised blend, use the lymphatic massage technique to facilitate absorption and improve blood and lymphatic circulation. First, use the thumbs to slide downward from the top of the nasal bridge to the corners of the mouth. Next, swipe upwards with two fingers from the chin to the back of the ears. Follow that with a downward motion from the neck along the lymph toward the upper clavicles, this time using the index, middle and ring fingers. Finally, swipe along the lymph around the collarbones.
