BUILT AND LAUNCHED IN NORTHEAST BORNEO, the Raja Laut’s first sailing voyage in the open sea was in 2006. Since then, the schooner has sailed throughout Southeast Asia.

As an adaptation of a 19th-Century trading schooner, the concept was created for private charter throughout the region.

During the winter months of October-April, Raja Laut sails through Burma’s Mergui Archipelago. In the summer months, she cruises Indonesia’s Komodo National Park.

The tailor-made charter experience includes a Captain, gourmet chef, stewardess, and dive master to guide activities underwater and on land. Whether guests prefer diving, snorkeling, trekking or just relaxing, the crew is on hand to offer the best of each destination.

Although the Mergui islands are located only 100 nautical miles north of Phuket, the islands have an ‘out of this world’ feeling, with little human presence and untouched by modern development.
