AT THE 2015 MONACO YACHT SHOW Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design presented Symmetry, a bi-directional manoeuvrable concept yacht with a revolutionary design that works from the center outwards.

The strikingly spacious, well-balanced and symmetrical build up is a showcase of the next step in megayacht design.

“The yacht’s layout is created by symmetrically building up from the center, instead of using the traditional linear set up,” says designer Sander Sniot. “Functions on the decks are organised around the central void with an intuitive logic. The symmetrical shape of the hull allows for a bi-directional course at sea, tight manoeuvres and pivoting, ensuring comfortable tender transfers on the lee side of the lower deck’s mid-ship beach lounge.”

Symmetry’s six decks and 180-metre length at a beam of 29m provides an interior space volume of over 18000 GT and an exterior deck space of over 1000m2. The yacht has a capacity of 34 guests and 48 crew.

Every deck has a specific function and character. The mid-ship beach deck features a seawater pool tender bay. The guest deck offers a spectacular mid-ship pool with a glass bottom, multiple spacious VIP rooms with ensuite lounges and balconies. The hotel deck contains guest facilities including an extensive spa, dining, lounges, bars, garden, gym and a 17m+ exterior pool. The wheelhouse has dual steering arrangements to accommodate bi-directional manoeuvrability. The lower deck contains a home theatre and a kids’ playroom and the owner- exclusive deck features the owner’s stateroom, private spa, office, library, sky lounge and exterior deck with lounge seats, as well as an infinity water feature.
