IN JUNE, SIMPSON MARINE sales leaders from across the region attended the Beneteau and Lagoon global dealer conferences in France. The company was awarded with Beneteau Best Performance 2016 for the Thailand office, Beneteau Best Sales 2016 for the Taiwan office and Best Distributor in Asia.
The events highlighted the ongoing product development from the world-leading brands with the unveiling of the new Lagoon Seventy 7 and Beneteau Oceanis 62. The OC62 was designed in collaboration with Berret Racoupeau Yacht Design and Italian designer Pierangelo Andreani. The Seventy 7 is Lagoon’s largest sailing catamaran project to date. She is a versatile yacht designed for easy day passage handling or completing an Atlantic crossing.
The model was sold by Simpson Marine and will be delivered to Singapore, while its sister yacht Lagoon Seventy 8 was sold in Malaysia. Both Lagoons are scheduled to arrive in 2018. Simpson Marine reports that it also recently delivered a Sanlorenzo 46Steel to its new Owner in Hong Kong.
