Notice your skin is starting to look a lot oilier? Blame it on the humidity, or it could even be that spicy laksa you had for lunch. Skip spices, greasy foods and alcohol – they dilate the blood vessels and will cause you to sweat – and reach for colourful vegetables such as carrots and spinach which are high in vitamin A. This can actually help to slow down oil production.

Our skin is exposed to pollutants on a daily basis. Everyday gadgets like the computer emit very low levels of radiation, and if you often frown or squint while concentrating on a task, wrinkles and lines could gradually begin to form over the long term. Keep a mist with you at your desk so you can freshen up before leaving.

You’ve probably been sitting in front of the computer for the last two hours. Get up to walk about, drink a glass of water and correct your sitting posture. Doing this helps to improve circulation and also prevent any back, neck or shoulder aches at the end of the day.
