Wearing a lippie is undoubtedly the easiest way to look put together: Just swipe on, and you’re good to go! Expand your lip wardrobe with one of four mixer lipstick shades from the new shu uemura Rouge Unlimited range, which you can layer on for different looks.

Shu Uemura International Chief Makeup Artist and Product Designer Yuji Asano shows you how easy it is to create stunning lip looks with just two lip shades.

THE NEW OMBRE

The ombre lip trend started by mimicking a ‘just bitten’ look, with colour concentrated on the centre of lips. To give a brand new twist to the gradient lip look, layer the Purple shade on the outer edges of lips for a multi-dimensional look.

TWO-TONE LIPS

To enhance lip’s natural brightness, layer the darker BG965 on the top lip and the brighter PK365 on the lower lip. The same rule can be applied to other lip colours within the range as well.

Precision is the key when it comes to this lip look, so use a lip brush to mark the centre of the lips and apply the quadrants in a contrasting colour like the PK325 or BG900.
