If you’re heading to Tokyo or Osaka this year end, pop into the Ermenegildo Zegna Global Stores in each city to check out the brand’s “Made in Japan” capsule collection. Created to celebrate the opening of its Ginza boutique this year, the project sees Ermenegildo Zegna Couture designer Stefano Pilati working with local artisans to create a one-off capsule collection using Japanese fabrics and techniques. Among the results of this cross-cultural sartorial synthesis: Suits with subtly mismatched microchecks and tailored denim separates.
