MICHAEL KORS SEXY SUNSET EDP, $152.

Want a fresh yet evening-appropriate scent? This, with its blend of freesia and blackcurrant notes, and feminine florals such as jasmine and peony, is it.

MARC JACOBS DAISY BLUSH EDITION EDT, $115.

This is the grown-up version of the original Daisy fragrance (which is sweeter and girlier). You’ll get hints of creamy white flowers such as honeysuckle and lily of the valley before it dries down to a woody, musky base. Very chic.

VALENTINO VALENTINA POUDRE EDT, $176.

This smells like iris and vanilla with a slightly powdery quality, thanks to the interesting addition of terracotta powder. CHLOE LOVE STORY EDT, $158. Not your average floral, this one features zesty notes of orange blossom alongside nasturtium, a flower with a slightly peppery scent.

ELIE SAAB LE PARFUM ROSE COUTURE EDT, $169.

The most feminine of the lot, this has hints of rose nectar and peony on first whiff , then dries down to a floral-woody base of jasmine, vanilla and sandalwood.
