Time for a first
Girard-Perregaux has opened its first flagship store in South-east Asia at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. This is where you’ll find the most extensive range of its timepieces in the region. Psst… if you buy a watch here, you’ll get an additional one-year warranty on the timepiece (on top of the usual two years).
Shop this label: Alice McCall
Street-style icons like Nicole Warne (aka Gary Pepper Girl) and Kendall Jenner have been spotted in this Australian label’s feminine and weekend-ready pieces, which include knee-length overalls, matching cropped tops and pants, and rompers with polka dots. The good news? You can now shop the label on http://stm.cool-find.com. From $189 for a bustier top.
How’s this for a statement ring?
It has wavy patterns and black rhodium-plated details. If the shape looks familiar, that’s because it’s inspired by an antique fan.
Think pink
The sweet hue doesn’t usually come to mind when we’re glamming up for a party, but these pieces in rose gold, or with pink gemstones, will change things.
Don’t give these away
You’ll get everyone talking with these fun leather clutches that look like gift boxes.
Four modern jade pieces
Yes, the stone can look fun and youthful – just check out the bracelet, necklace and earrings shown here. They’re made with jadeite (a type of jade that comes mainly from Myanmar) in colours like lavender and pastel greens. Available at Peach Blossom Gallery.
Leather love
Catch Hermes’ Leather Forever exhibition at the Artscience Museum before it ends on Dec 13. It features more than 200 items from the archives, like trunks, satchels and the iconic Kelly and Birkin bags from the ’20s to the present. And only in Singapore, there’s a special exhibition titled Little Room of Wanders at the Asian Civilisations Museum. There, you’ll see Emile Hermes’ private collection of antiques, like a walking cane with a hidden perfume shaft. There are also sketches of horse carriages and parasols by his grandfather and brand founder Thierry Hermes. Admission to both exhibitions is free.
Twinkle toes
On our wish list of party shoes to own? Star-spangled flats like these repetto ones because they’re fancy and comfy – the perfect combo for dancing the night away in.

You can now put your own spin on Fred’s Force 10 bracelet – the thin version of it, that is. First, choose from yellow, pink or white gold buckles that come with or without diamonds. Then, match the selected buckle with a nylon bracelet from a range of 25 colours (including new hues like light and dark grey, turquoise and yellow). Buckles start from $2,085, and bracelets from $335.

Omega’s De Ville Prestige Dewdrop Co-Axial marks the first time the brand has created a dainty bracelet strap like this since the ’60s. What we love: the five-link strap made up of “beads” that resemble water droplets, and the pretty butterfly motifs on the mother-of-pearl dial.
