You know her as the multitalented actress and supermodel. Now, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is the face of Bulgari’s bags and eyewear. She tells IAN LEE about her fashion must-haves in Milan.
Keeping it classy: Rosie looks elegant in a silver gown and a Serpenti white gold and diamond necklace with matching earrings from Bulgari’s high jewellery collection.
YOUR VERY FIRST PIECE OF JEWELLERY WAS…
A little gold ring, which my mother gave me when I turned 18. It was a sort of coming-ofage piece, and the first proper, grown-up piece of jewellery I owned. Although I don’t wear it anymore, it has a lot of sentimental value – the meaning behind each piece is what I find really beautiful about jewellery.
AND YOUR FIRST BVLGARI PIECE?
I invested in a Serpenti watch last year. I’d had my eye on it for a while. I just love vintage-style pieces.
Serpenti Spiga ceramic and pink gold watch, $13,950.
The statuesque supermodel oozing old-Hollywood glamour in a oneshoulder ivory gown at the Met Gala last May.
Serpenti leather bag with studs (price unavailable).
YOUR FAVE STONE IS…
The diamond, of course. It happens to be my birthstone – I was born in April. I also like turquoise because it’s summery and exotic!
AND YOUR FAVE SHADE OF GOLD?
I love rose gold – maybe because my name is Rosie! I find rose gold soft on the skin and flattering.
YOUR TAKE ON WEARING JEWELLERY IS…
I don’t like to think too much about it. Jewellery should be part of who you are, and be personal.
YOUR FAVE FALL/WINTER 2016 PIECES
My fave bag is the Desert Quartz Serpenti bag with studs. It’s feminine and rock ’n’ roll at the same time, and I’d love to carry it as an evening bag.
