What to use: A nude with a soft pink or coral base to brighten the complexion. Yeo says to avoid light beiges and grey-based nudes (such as a grey-beige or cool brown), which draw out the yellow pigments in Asian skin, making you look sickly.

What to use: A warm, rosy nude or warm beige brings out the pink tones in Caucasian skin. “For best effect, use a shade that’s one or two tones darker than your skin,” says makeup artist Melissa Yeo.

What to use: Yeo says bluebased beiges look lovely on skin like Chopra’s as they add contrast to the complexion, bringing out its pink tones. “Deep chocolate browns also work well,” says Yeo.
"To help deeper skin tones look radiant, avoid yellowish or earthy colours. Instead, wear pink, bright brown and beige to counter sallowness."
