Good Hair & Good Men

Sometimes, what a woman needs boils down to two things: good hair, and good men.

Sometimes, what a woman needs boils down to two things: good hair, and good men.

Good hair needs no explanation. Having good hair just makes you feel, well, good. This issue, we give you the winners of the Her World Hair Awards 2018.

There’s a hair product, treatment and service for every hair type and scalp condition. Our testers spent hours sitting in salons or applying products on their hair. We had one aim: to find out which ones really work, and make your hair look much, much better.

And then there are good men – with the emphasis on “good”. As independent, confi dent, modern women, we’re perfectly happy doing our own thing, on our own, in our own time. Men, optional.

But these 31 Good Men are in a sphere of their own. They come from all walks of life and industries. They make our lives much better. And nicer.  And they make Singapore a more satisfying place to live, work and play.

They’re the ones reporting on climate change, turning food waste into fertiliser for produce, making popcorn in local flavours (think teh tarik), creating humanist furniture, championing gender diversity, making a better and more ergonomic chair for long hours of sitting, and more. Turn to page 132 to find out who they all are.
