Chanel’s luxurious eye cream is designed to erase signs of fatigue, and make the skin around your eyes brighter and more moisturised. Containing a vanilla planifolia extract that is said to boost cellular function and repair, the Chanel Sublimage La Creme Yeux aims to reduce puffiness and the look of dark circles while plumping up fine lines and wrinkles. Use the accompanying massage accessory to evenly smooth the product over your eye-area contours, or apply the cream as an eye mask for a more intensive treatment. Here’s our take on the cream, which is suitable for all skin types.

IN YOUR 20S

“While I don’t suffer from dark under-eye circles or puffy eyes, following the massage techniques using the massage applicator leaves my eyes feeling refreshed every single time. One thing I really like about this cream is the way the fine gold pigments in it add a touch of shimmery radiance to my skin, brightening up the eye area instantly.” – DIONE CHEN, BEAUTY WRITER

IN YOUR 30S

“I love the texture, enjoy the massage and like how the cream doesn’t irritate my reactive skin. On days when I don’t get enough sleep, it seems to refresh my tired skin and relieve eye strain. While there isn’t much improvement on puffiness, I find my skin looks brighter, and my dark circles and wrinkles are less obvious.” – SIMONE WU, SENIOR BEAUTY EDITOR

IN YOUR 40S

“The cream didn’t sting my eyes even when it was applied so close to them. I could tell that the wrinkles around my eyes looked less obvious, but I couldn’t see a significant difference in my dark circles or puffiness. As an eye mask, it makes older skin like mine more moisturised, clearer and less tired- looking. I’d recommend using it more as a mask, finishing off with a massage before tissuing off the excess cream. I would use it nightly to neutralise the eye strain of the day.” – PENELOPE CHAN, EXECUTIVE EDITOR
