True Gucci aficionados will be pumped to know that the brand’s comprehensive collection for kids mirrors the signature motifs and eclectic style of its grown-up designs. This season, expect jaw-dropping embroidery details, bright takes on classic prints, and plenty of shine. OD on sequins, appliques and colour, on apparel as well as an extensive accessories line, including hats, bags and footwear.

And the best spot for exploring this vibrant collection? The Gucci Kids’ store at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, which brings to life the aesthetic universe of the luxury house, as if seen through the eyes of a child.

The boutique evokes an oversized playroom decorated by kids with overactive imaginations—imagine fantastical details like lion’s head door knockers, trunks with horse’s legs as stands, wooden pineapples, furniture with lion’s paws serving as legs, and stars adorning the walls, display cases and mirrors.

Reflecting the lush palette of the collection is a riot of colours and patterns in the interior. Think pistachio-coloured carpets, melded with navy-and-white striped and yellow-and-white wallpaper; upholstery featuring additional yellow-and-white checks and the brand’s herbarium print; as well as wooden elements in the form of brushed lacquered oak.

In this shopping wonderland, wares are showcased in displays customised to look like ornate wardrobes and chests in a fairy tale bedroom. Indeed, the surreal store ambience reflects the eccentric nostalgia of Creative Director Alessandro Michele, created by contrasting textures, mysterious panelled doors and curtained changing rooms.
