London’s had a couple of major events for the cruise 2017 season. The last one saw Gucci send 96 looks down the Cloisters of Westminster Abbey—the only fashion house to host a runway show in the historic venue. The glittering styles continued at the private after-party in 18th-century mansion, 106 Piccadilly, (also the London home of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology). Georgia May Jagger was a vision in pink leather, while Alexa Chung boogied in a sparkly embellished dress. A slew of celebrity DJs spun music gold throughout the night, only to break when Annie Lennox, decked in a custom silk jacquard tuxedo, started singing “Walking on Broken Glass,” to Creative Director, Alessandro Michele, proving there ain’t no party like a Gucci party.
