The new collection is filled with designs that were made for stacking

Faans who mourns who mourned the dened the deparparturture of thee of the talented Francesca Amfitheatroof from Tiffany & CoCo. atat the start of 2017 rejoiced when they heard that she was appointed as Louis Vuitton’s new Artistic Director of Watches and Jewellery in April 2018. And it seems the designer—who is now the woman in charge of creating the Maison’s fine and high jewellery collections, while overseeing its watch designs—has been keeping herself rather busy in the process.

In addition to launching her own jewellery label, Thief and Heist (whose name alone hints at the label’s aim of shaking things up in the world of bijoux), Amfitheatrof’s debut fine jewellery collection for the luxury brand has finally been launched, with designs that marry the best of Louis Vuitton’s aesthetic DNA codes with those of Amfitheatrof herself.

Clean modern lines (not to mention her affinity for chains) set the stage for the brand’s beloved monogram, which takes pride of place on earrings, hard stone spherical and signet rings, bangles, bracelets and necklaces in the B.Blossom collection. Playing on volume and proportion, the collection presents the 123-year-old emblem (created by Georges-Louis Vuitton in 1896) in a fresh light, with coloured stones such as malachite and pink opal adding their punch to onyx, white agate and diamonds on their bed of yellow and pink gold.

Ranking high on wearability and versatility, these glittering baubles show us what we can expect from Louis Vuitton in the near future; especially now that it has Amfitheatrof by its side.
