Senior Beauty Editor & Social Media Manager Arissa Ha says it’s time to find a balance between ease and chic.

One good thing that has come out of more people staying in is that blue skies are back now that pollution levels are dropping all over the world, and nature is starting to reclaim its space. In a serendipitous way, Maria Grazia Chiuri’s spring/summer 2020 collection for Christian Dior reflected a respect for the environment and natural world. Her vision of relaxed silhouettes in earthy tones (#6) hit the sweet spot between loungewear and workwear, and is just right for these times, when staying in and working remotely have become the new norm. Being on home ground means shorts (#10 & #14) are in order, smartened up with tailored pieces such as a crisp shirt (#8) and a blazer (#3) when we need to look presentable for those Zoom meetings. Face time also means that looking well groomed is a must, and a radiance-enhancing foundation (#5) and a slick of lip gloss in a MLBB hue (#11) will do the trick. If you need to step out of the house, throw on some gold accents like a Cartier bangle (#9) and a minimalist CELINE necklace (#1). Finish with a pair of chic booties (#7) and sunnies (#2), and you’re ready come rain or shine.
