LET THE LIGHT IN
Moynat refreshes its 170-year heritage with a contemporary spirit. Classically structured bags in sumptuous skins are given a modern spin with a punchy palette that ranges from pleasing pastels to poppy brights, all accented with the most distinctive hardware.
The most distinctive feature on the Réjane is the lock, unearthed from the brand’s extensive archives and evoking the Art Deco period. The bag’s sleek, simple lines belie the 20 hours of craft that goes into its making, with its edges alone painted and polished a minimum of eight times.
The graphic, curved seam and the abstracted M of the closure on the Gabrielle both nod to the distinct concave base of the iconic Limousine trunk. The complex construction of the bag is overseen by a single craftsman.
