Multi-label retailer LaPrendo has added another label to its mix: Lydia L. The label’s unique moniker pays homage to Lydia of Thyatira, a notable merchant from ancient times who peddled cloth and was sometimes referred to as the “patroness of dyers.” Like its name suggests, everything begins with the fabric at Lydia L, from which the newly-launched label fashions sophisticated and polished clothes for the contemporary woman.
