With pop pastel shades and playful design details like leather lining in contrasting colours, the Italian jeweller’s S/S ’19 line of bags and SLGs has an unmistakably youthful appeal (there’s even the introduction of a bucket bag). What’s going to make the social media-weaned generation double-tap though is the in-built technology dubbed Bvlgari Touch. After downloading the similarly named app, one can use the phone to scan the discreet logo and enter a microsite that offers not just the full suite of product details, but also care tips, images of others – street-style stars included – with the same bag, and filters you can play with. Think of it as an exclusive network for Bvlgari bag owners. Mark Zuckerberg, your competition just went up. – IJ
