The next big trend in piercing is absolutely pain-free and eschews all needles –except for the one attached to the sewing machine. Starting in the ’70s, when safety pins on your clothing was the epitome of punk fashion, the current takes on pierced pieces are a little less DIY and a little more sleek, with ball studs and metallic hoops adorning your wardrobe and allowing a sense of rebellion and a devil-may-care attitude.
