1 Skincare
2 Makeup prep
Apply a makeup base to brighten the skin tone. This step isn’t about coverage so don’t apply too much.
3 Conceal
Vivi Ahn uses two types of concealer before applying the cushion foundation: a lighter concealer for the eyes, nose and lips, and a darker one specifically for blemishes.
4 Cushion foundation
Use the cushion compact all over the face. For contouring, she suggests using another cushion compact one or two shades darker.
5 Brows
While straight brows used to be all the rage in dark colours for Korean brows, this is changing. Today it’s more trendy to add a slight curve at the end and keep the colour a little lighter and more natural.
6 Eyeshadow
For the eyes, Vivi Ahn uses ETUDE HOUSE’s Blend For Eyes in Cozy Beige. Start with the lightest shade all over the eyelids, followed by a medium shade at the centre and contour the outer corners with the darker shades.
7 Eyeliner
To make your eyes pop, apply eyeliner by tightlining. Go for a slight curve at the end for a K-Star look. Finish by applying a shimmery powder on the under-eye area for a youthful look.
