With new hotels and retail spaces up and ready, Tanjong Pagar is the upcoming lifestyle district in town. Joining the fray is a slew of restaurants. Thirteen-year-old Oso Ristorante takes up a more modern space at the 27th floor of Oasia Hotel Downtown, together with a revamped menu of modern Italian fare. Just across the street, all-day restaurant Racines offers modern French and Chinese cuisine at the new Sofitel Singapore City Centre. A stone’s throw away, supper club The Ottomani provides Middle-Eastern inspired dishes and heady cocktails in a seductive dining room.
