Crazy about Japanese food? For the first time in Singapore, foodies will get to enjoy Gyu-Katsu, a popular beef cutlet that is currently popular in Japan.
Made from premium beef, the Gyu-Katsu is deepfried at 210 degrees Celsius for just 60 seconds. This flash frying method gives the meat a wonderful crispy crust and a tender, medium-rare interior that melts in your mouth. If you prefer your beef a little more done, you can gently cook it on the mini teppan that comes with every Gyu-Katsu order. To complement the dish and give it extra flavour, choose from three dips: wasabi soy sauce, mustard mayo and rock salt.
Also on the Ginza Kushi-Katsu menu: juicy Foil Wrapped Hamburg Steak, which is layered with demi-glace sauce, and Foil Wrapped Salmon. Another must-try is a new signature Crab Cream Croquette Omu Rice, with crispy balls of rich and creamy crab goodness. For large groups, get the Kushi-Katsu Party Set, an assortment of 12 or 24 skewers of fried prawn, salmon, meat and gyoza.
