Cover girl Fann Wong shares how she’s revelling in motherhood – displaying such a change in mindset from her workaholic acting days. And, of course, we had to ask her how she keeps her fabulous shape and complexion.

The nominees in this year’s Great Women Of Our Time Awards (page 35) show us the power of dreaming big. They’re finding success in their diverse fields, but I note a common thread that weaves through them. These women are spurred on by the desire to fulfil the needs of others. They don’t just have the brains, they have the HEART .

Speaking about heart, it’s Go Red For Women month. So we asked experts what we should do to take care of our ticker. Did you know women are more susceptible to Broken Heart Syndrome? Cardiologist Dr Carolyn Lam (page 47) says our emotions can actually trigger stress hormones that can constrict our arteries, leading to a heart attack! Which is why I’m making a note to self to go find a new activity to destress (Bounce class, here I come!). Please don’t forget – you.

Looking all glam for our Go Red heart health story photo shoot is dietitian Jaclyn Reutens (page 47). Behind the scenes with Great Women Of Our Time nominee Winnie Chan.
