UAE BUILDER Gulf Craft recently presented 16 yachts and boats ranging from 31-125ft at its sixth annual Exclusive Preview event at The Pearl – Qatar.
The display included the 38m Majesty 125 and the first appearance in Qatar of the Majesty 100, as well as models from the yard’s long- range Nomad Yachts series, Silvercraft fishing boats and family cruisers, and Oryx sport cruisers. A Bentley Flying Spur V8S was part of the onshore attractions.
Gulf Craft, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary, accounts for more than 40 per cent of the leisure craft market in Qatar.
Mohammed Hussein Al Shaali, Chairman of Gulf Craft, said: “Our presence in Qatar is part of our commitment to serving the country’s growing community of passionate boaters, and represents our ability to consistently deliver a diverse range of world-class craft with excellent seakeeping performance.”
The shipyard also recently partnered with the Abdulaziz Bin Humaid Leadership Programme focused on talented young GCC professionals. Gulf Craft hosted the participants by giving a tour of its award-winning Majesty Yachts shipyard.
The youngsters observed the boat-manufacturing process and the cooperation of different departments, and also listened to speeches by Al Shaali on his vision for Gulf Craft and CEO Erwin Bamps on the company’s international achievements.
