SANLORENZO HAS LAUNCHED Ocean’s Four, the third hull of the award-winning 460Explorer series, at its La Spezia headquarters and Sim Sim, the 14th model of the SD126 line, at its Viareggio shipyard.

Following Moka and X, Ocean’s Four was the latest launch among the five units sold to the US, Mexico, Europe, Russia and China since the 460Explorer’s global debut at the 2015 Monaco Yacht Show.

Ocean’s Four’s exclusive features include a grey-blue hull and the lowered side bulwarks, allowing a view to the sea from the saloon. The 42.2m, 460gt vessel has a steel displacement hull and aluminium superstructure.

The superstructure’s positioning towards the bow creates a large space at the stern of the main deck, allowing for the storage of toys such as a private submersible, a seaplane or a fishing boat. Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel designed the interiors.

Meanwhile, the Turkish owner of Sim Sim and his family gathered at the Viareggio shipyard to celebrate the launch of the 38m semi- displacement SD126 – the owner’s second Sanlorenzo superyacht.

SD126 is a 126ft four-deck vessel that combines Sanlorenzo lines with the shape of 1930s transatlantic liners, and is the largest model in the Italian yard’s series of semi-displacement yachts, which also includes the SD92 and SD112.

Sim Sim’s interior features oak wood for flooring and custom-made furniture. The yacht can accommodate 10 people and six crew on board.
