ASIA YACHTING has expanded its representation of Monte Carlo Yachts (MCY) to the Philippines, where the Hong Kong-based company is also expanding its brokerage business.

Asia Yachting is the exclusive dealer for the Italian brand in Hong Kong and Macau, and has already sold three units of the flagship MCY 105. The company marked its new dealership with a strong presence at the ninth Philippine Boatshow and Nautical Lifestyle Expo and Conference in March.

Alfred Gotianun, Managing Director of Asia Yachting Philippines, said: “It’s very exciting to bring such a distinguished brand of yachts to the Philippines. With its timeless design and unlimited customisation, we’re hoping to see great results in the expanding local market.”

Olivier Besson, CEO of Asia Yachting, added: “The Philippines have the most beautiful waters in Asia, possibly even in the world, providing a fantastic yachting ground. We are excited to explore the unlimited possibilities for us here.”

Asia Yachting has also been busy in Hong Kong and in early April showcased the MCY 70, 80 and 86 models at Club Marina Cove in Sai Kung, where Bentley Hong Kong - Kam Lung displayed the exclusive Bentayga SUV.

At the end of April, Asia Yachting organised eight yachts from 21ft to over 100ft for a weekend brokerage show in Repulse Bay, having held brokerage shows in Hong Kong in July and November last year.

Asia Yachting, founded in 2007, also represents Prestige and Scarab in Hong Kong and Macau, and Nautique in Greater China. The company specialises in new yacht sales, yacht management, charter and brokerage.
