BENETTI IS BUILDING a 47m custom superyacht with a displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure for a repeat client. The motor yacht is scheduled to launch in February 2019 and be delivered in June of the same year.
Benetti’s in-house team are designing the exterior and naval architecture of the new addition to the shipyard’s Custom collection, while Mexican designer Mauricio Gómez de Tuddo – collaborating with Benetti for the first time – is creating the interior.
The motoryacht can sleep up to 12 guests in six cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite – with a centrally placed bathroom and separate closets – located forward on the main deck.
Fabio Ermetto, Benetti’s CCO, said: “The fact that, yet again, a previous Benetti owner has come back for another yacht is further confirmation that we have worked well in the past and can guarantee quality in the future.
