HOLLAND’S DAMEN YACHTS recently launched the 55m New Frontiers from its Yacht Support range and is scheduled to deliver her in September before the 181-footer exhibits at the Monaco Yacht Show from September 27-30.
One of the yacht’s standout features is the three-suite layout for six guests, including the owner’s suite on the main deck, as well as accommodation for four staff, pilots, security and guides.
The 496gt vessel has a 30sqm lounge and dining area, a 50sqm sun deck, an aft adventure centre with large storage as well as a helipad, which can support a helicopter with up to 3,700kg take-off weight.
The vessel has a 9m beam, a top speed of 20 knots and a range of 5,000nm, and shares the same semi-displacement Damen Sea Axe platform as previous Yacht Support vessels including Fast & Furious.

A total of 11 Damen Yacht Support vessels have been delivered or are in build. The Yacht Support range is built by Damen in cooperation with Dutch luxury yacht builder Amels, which also handles sales and marketing of the range.
