EXPERT TIPS

If you’ve never used retinols in your skincare regimen, here’s how you can start:

Some people experience skin irritation and sensitivity when using retinols. Start with a lower concentration, especially if you have sensitive skin.

To help skin acclimate to the use of retinols, mix one part of the Overnight Retinol Repair 1% to three parts of the Buffer Cream, and adjust the concentration as you go along.

It is best to use retinols at night, as skin becomes more sensitive to UV rays after use. Always put on sunscreen to protect the skin against UV damage.
