For Mum

She would surely appreciate something healthy, so make it extra special for mum by topping it with lots of fruit, like berries, for an antioxidant boost.

If she’s concerned about weight gain, a choice of low-fat milk gets you brownie points. You can also liven up the presentation with some pretty flowers on the side (perfect for mother’s Day brekkie!).

For The Kids

They might be fussy with breakfast especially those grumpier ones in the morning. Tempt them with some chocolate sauce or honey drizzled over a bowl of cornflakes and milk, and you’ll be amazed by the results. Be sure to swap the milk out for soy or nut milk if your child is lactose intolerant.

For Your Husband

He typically needs more energy for the commute to the office and the long day ahead, so be sure to supplement the bowl of cereal. add slices of banana or some buttered corn on top to give him an energy boost. If he’s a big eater, add a small slice of sourdough bread or a hard-boiled egg on the side (just say no if he asks for some bacon!).
