HANDY TO HAVE
The latest incarnations of Hansgrohe’s Talis basin mixers are fitted with Select technology, which allows users to turn taps on without moving any handles. You won’t have to worry about leaving streaks behind when your fingers are covered in grime or soap suds – simply use your wrist or elbow to activate the button on the top of the tap. Hands down the best thing since… automated taps?
A PLAY OF LIGHT
Jason Miller, the owner of Brooklynbased small-batch independent lighting boutique Roll & Hill, has designed Odds & Ends, a trio of quirky LED wall lights, that can be mounted alone or in an installation of multiples. Aquafresh is particularly noteworthy, because it looks like a squirt of toothpaste. A cluster of Teardrop lamps, on the other hand, will produce a four-leaf clover. Together the shapes can form any pattern that fits your fancy.

NATURE CALLS
Bring the great outdoors in with Equilibrio, the latest line of taps from bathroom products manufacturer Gessi. Artist-philosopher Marsel Lesko, who is renowned for balancing stones, has designed similar sculptural taps to create wellness of mind, body and spirit. The base of the tap is available in 10 metals, while the interchangeable handle is available in 18 designs, including stone, wood or metal.
