As one of the world’s largest producers of fine and innovative fabrics, Ermenegildo Zegna is no slouch when it comes to materials innovation. The brand’s latest Pelle Tessuta collection features the use of a special woven leather, constructed by weaving extremely fine strips of nappa leather in place of fabric yarns. The resulting leather is as strong as it is light and soft, and, this season, it takes the form of loafers, sneakers, a holdall, a business bag and a belt.
