To get your foot in the fast- growing and fast-moving hospitality business, a specialised and prestigious Swiss education in hospitality is a decided advantage. With more than 700,000 hotels and resorts in the world, and 413 hotels in 2016 (up from 392 in 2014) in Singapore alone, according to Singapore Tourism Board figures, this means an abundance of jobs in the booming hospitality industry for candidates with the right qualifications.

Swiss hospitality is renowned for its efficiency, attention to detail and warmth. And where better to be schooled in this, than the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) in Switzerland? Founded by Jacques Tschumi in 1893, the 125-year-old school is recognised as the best hospitality management school worldwide, with the highest graduate employment rates in the industry.

Today, the EHL campus has more than 110 student nationalities for a truly international experience – important in an industry where you will need to work and interact with guests and contacts from myriad countries. You will join a 25,000-strong alumni community, of which more than 60 per cent achieve senior or C-level positions in the workforce.
