MASKED RIDER

Why would anyone create a superhero with the head of a fly? For Lew, the Masked Rider’s defiance of an archetypal hero embodies the boundless worlds of manga and anime. “There’s a lot of creativity involved and it stimulates me to think bigger, beyond the world we live in now. As Einstein once said: ‘Imagination is more important than knowledge.’”

MAZINGER Z

Growing up in the ‘70s, Lew followed the adventures of Mazinger Z, a Japanese super robot, as it embarked on its quest to slay other mechanical beasts. Lew says that staying open to possibilities, no matter how remote, is key to birthing new ideas.
