Dinner & Dance
There’s no better time than Christmas to bring out the bling. Here’s how to turn heads with gold glitter in a fashionably relevant way.
Get The Look
Step 1: Trace your top and bottom lash lines with waterproof liner for definition. Then, draw a thicker line on the lower lash lines and smudge it with your finger.
Step 2: Using a synthetic brush, pick up a smudge-proof eyeshadow base followed by gold glitter, and add this to your lower lash lines in a neat row.
Step 3: Apply lengthening mascara to emphasise your lower lashes.
Step 4: Complete the look by moisturising your lips with a balm, and applying a red lipstick just at the centre of your pout. With a dabbing motion, use your fingers to blend it well for soft ombre lips.
House Party
Lighten up by swopping your regular eyeliner for something in a vibrant, look-at-me shade. Inspired by bedazzled eye makeup from the ’80s, these hues instantly perk up your peepers.

Step 1: Groom your brows before applying a neutral brown eyeshadow as a base on your upper eyelids.
Step 2: Using a bright, shimmering green eyeliner, draw a line from the inner corners to the centre of your upper eyelids. Use the same liner to trace a V-shape around the inner corners.
Step 3: Switch to a vivid blue eyeliner. Begin at the middle of your upper eyelids, overlapping a little with the green eyeliner, and continue the line towards the outer corners.
Step 4: Apply two coats of mascara for luscious volume. Step 5: Finish with a natural lip stain.
Festive Dinner
Expand your smoky palette beyond the ubiquitous black, greys and browns. This is the perfect time to try smoky wines and amethysts. This look is not only softer and more wearable, but also channels fun and femininity.

Monochromatic washes of pink are elegant and effortless enough for morning or afternoon events. This garden-party glow also makes up for all those late nights by giving skin a healthy-looking radiance.
Get The Look
Step 1: Prep your skin with a lustrous foundation, focusing primarily on areas needing more coverage such as your undereye circles.
Step: 2: With a multipurpose pink face stick, apply a thin wash of colour to y our eyelids, the apples of your cheek and lips. The colour on your lids should be lightest, followed by a medium intensity on your cheeks, and higher intensity on your puckers.
Step 3: This one is optional: Sweep a little taupe eyeshadow near the lash lines of both the upper and lower lids for depth.
Step 4: Finish off with a coat of mascara.
