Seaweed, ginger and green tea sound like they belong in a healthy spa menu. Instead, they are the core ingredients of The Sloane Clinic’s Green Tea & Ginger ($247.17 for 60min). Rich in antioxidants, minerals and nutrients, the three power foods act in harmony to detox and soothe skin in a one-hour treatment that includes cleansing, extraction and the piece de resistance: an aloe-based organic mask. Penetrating the skin, aloe vera purges it of impurities and hydrates as the mask hardens. After it comes off, a serum, moisturiser and sunscreen are applied.

According to the clinic, the treatment is best for those with sensitive skin. It is also favoured for treating clogged pores, and revitalising dullness and tired complexions.
