The Intensive Purifying Facial at DRx Medispa ($321 for 90min) was created to give skin a deep, thorough cleanse so skincare can be better absorbed. It does that by way of hydro-microdermabrasion and manual extraction, which removes surface dead skin cells, and dislodges oil plugs, comedones and debris stuck in pores respectively.
The treatment involves a hydro-infusion session too, whereby antioxidants, vitamins and nutrients with a host of benefits to alleviate the effects of environmental stressors, strengthen skin, boost skin cell renewal, aid in the skin’s natural recovery, and help combat premature skin ageing, are infused deep into skin.
