Use an oil-based cleanser to remove makeup and sunscreen.

There are two types of sunscreen: waterproof, mineralbased ones with zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide, and chemical ones that convert UV rays into less-damaging forms of energy.

According to Dr Soh, an oilbased cleanser will typically remove all waterproof products, including mineral sunscreens. It’s also recommended for chemical sunscreens, which contain alcohol that can dry out the skin – a cleansing oil ensures its thorough removal.
