Turning 70 is a big deal, especially so for Dior. The French luxury house has already hosted a slew of anniversary soirées, and launched two of seven tomes paying homage to the designers that have helmed the Maison. The next cause for celebration? “Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams”, the largest, all-encompassing retrospective exhibition that has ever been housed at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris—where the world’s style cognoscenti gathered for the grand opening. After an exclusive preview of the exhibition, guests including Jennifer Lawrence, Natalie Portman and Cara Delevingne headed up to the museum’s restaurant, Loulou, for a garden party bathed in sunlight, buoyed by bubbly and backdropped by a breathtaking view of Paris.
