On 31 January 2018, the finalists of the Loewe Craft Prize 2018 will be announced with a showcase that should span a myriad of disciplines and materials, if past years’ entries are anything to go by. “It’s a personal prize to me. It’s incredibly important to the DNA of Loewe and to be able to showcase people’s approach to craft in modern culture,” says Loewe Creative Director Jonathan Anderson. “We have set up an incredible jury. It’s exciting for the Loewe Foundation and the history of craft.” The winning entry will receive €50,000 and be included in the Loewe Craft Prize 2018 exhibition in London.
