Few fashion events create more buzz than a new H&M collaboration, and the Kenzo x H&M show directed by Jean-Paul Goude took things to the next level—it was a fashion extravaganza, with dancers in place of models working the runway. Invitees including supermodel Iman, Chloë Sevigny and Lupita Nyong’o packed the venue at New York’s Pier 36, where—to the beat of a custom remix of “Express Yourself” by Sam Spiegel—Humberto Leon and Carol Lim’s high-octane firestorm of print and colour set the place ablaze. Then, like a throwback to the good ol’ hip hop days, rapper Ice Cube hit the stage for the after-party that lasted into the wee hours of the morning.
