One man’s trash is another man’s treasure? The adage couldn’t have been truer at Moschino, where Jeremy Scott sent cardboard-inspired dresses complete with strategically placed “duct tape” straps, warnings and box dimension labels down the runway. Scott took his bow in a t-shirt with the slogan, “Couture is an attitude. It’s not a price point”. Turning fashion trash and its preconceived notions on its head, he spun trash bags, bubble wrap, carpets, candelabras and clothes hangers into an irreverent finale of couture-esque eveningwear.
